ID7000 Staff Location System Overview

Traditionally radio systems have been able to identify numerous different transmitters, if these transmitters are portable units the person that activated the unit can be identified but not their location, If the unit is in a static position the location of the transmitter can be identified, but not the person who activated the transmitter. The ID7000 overcomes these problems it can identify the person and also their location. The unit can have up to 99 people with 99 locations, the advantage of this system in security situations is fairly obvious.

Transceiver (Portable)
The system consists of a rechargeable belt worn transceiver this unit receives door identity signals from each ceiling mounted door (check point) transmitter.

IDENT LT Location Transmitters (Fixed)
By Careful positioning of the checkpoint units a building can be defined into smaller and smaller areas, in fact this is one of the ID7000 great strengths a building can be simply split into four areas or down to individual rooms if needed, also if a check point unit is placed on an exit to an outside area such as a garden the unit will identify if a person has left the building.
Each door transmitter contains a passive infra-red movement detector, whenever someone passes within range of the PIR detector the led will light and a identity signal is transmitted, it is these signals that the portable transceiver receives.

ID7000 Receiver Panel
The receiver will display the door identity first as a two digit number in green, followed by the persons identity,as a two digit number in red. If more than one call is in the receiver it will scroll up to four of the calls.

General Operation
The transceiver will normally operate in passive mode and update its self as you walk around the building, once the unit has been activated the transmitter would then automatically go into instant mode, in this way once a person is attacked they could be tracked around the building with the receiver updating their position.

The door units will have a low battery buzzer fitted which would operate when the PIR is activated also the transmitter unit could be made to send a low battery signal to the receiver which could then display the low battery and door id.
